NAPPSA is proud to recognize Dr. Moji Christianah Adeyeye, as Member of the Month for April 2009. Dr. Adeyeye is a current Board member and Chair of the Education Committee.
Dr. Adeyeye is currently a Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Adeyeye is a registered pharmacist and has been a pharmacy educator for over 20 years. She is a Fulbright Scholar and a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Her research interests include, preformulation, drug/excipient characterization, delivery systems or solid, semisolid and liquid dosage forms development, manufacturing and quality assurance. The latest research focus is development and evaluation of combination drug products especially anti-retroviral drugs. Dr. Adeyeye has mentored over 15 M.S. and Ph.D. students in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology. She has 2 patents and published over 45 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and books.
