NAPPSA awards scholarships annually to outstanding students pursuing careers in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences.
NAPPSA Annual Scholarship
Awarded annually to a student demonstrating academic excellence, professional promise, and a commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession and the communities it serves.
The scholarship supports students enrolled in accredited pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences programs at the professional or graduate level anywhere in the Americas.

Eligibility & Criteria
Scholarships are open to all qualified applicants. No NAPPSA membership is required to apply.
Enrollment
Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy (PharmD) or pharmaceutical sciences (MS, PhD) program in the United States or Canada.
Academic Standing
Good academic standing as defined by the applicant’s institution. Specific GPA requirements will be published with the application cycle announcement.
Application Materials
A complete application including a personal statement, official transcripts, and at least one letter of recommendation from a faculty member or preceptor.
Open to All
NAPPSA scholarships are open to all eligible students. Membership in NAPPSA is welcomed but not required to apply or receive an award.

Do I need to be a NAPPSA member to apply?
No. NAPPSA scholarships are open to all eligible students. Membership is not required to apply or receive an award. We do encourage recipients to join and become part of the NAPPSA community.
What programs of study are eligible?
Students enrolled in accredited PharmD programs or graduate programs in pharmaceutical sciences (MS or PhD) at institutions in the United States or Canada are eligible. Additional program types may be added when the application is released.
When will applications open?
The application cycle has not yet been announced. Register your interest above and we will notify you directly when it opens. Announcements will also be made on the NAPPSA website and through our email list.
How is the recipient selected?
Applications are reviewed by the NAPPSA Scholarship Committee, which evaluates academic achievement, the personal statement, letters of recommendation, and demonstrated commitment to the profession. The recipient is announced at the Annual Scientific Conference.
