Investing in the next generation of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science professionals. NAPPSA scholarships are open to qualified students who are active NAPPSA student members.

NAPPSA awards scholarships annually to outstanding students pursuing careers in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences.
NAPPSA Annual Scholarship
Awarded annually to a student demonstrating academic excellence, professional promise, and a commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession and the communities it serves.
The scholarship supports full-time students enrolled in a Pharm.D. or graduate pharmaceutical sciences program at a fully accredited U.S. university.

Eligibility & Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the criteria below and submit a complete application by the deadline.
Enrollment
Full-time enrollment in a Pharm.D. or graduate Pharmaceutical Sciences program at a fully accredited U.S. university.
Academic Standing
Good academic standing, as defined by the applicant’s institution.
NAPPSA Membership
Active NAPPSA student membership, with annual dues paid by the application deadline.
First-Time Recipients
No previous NAPPSA scholarship award. Past recipients are ineligible.
Application Materials
Essays, a current transcript, an updated CV, and two academic recommendation letters.
How Selection Works
Selection considers academic achievement, financial need, NAPPSA involvement, and community service.
Recipient Commitment
Recipients must serve on the Scholarship Alumni Committee for at least two years.

Do I need to be a NAPPSA member to apply?
Yes. Applicants must hold an active NAPPSA student membership, with annual dues paid by the application deadline.
What programs of study are eligible?
Full-time students in a Pharm.D. or graduate Pharmaceutical Sciences program at a fully accredited U.S. university are eligible. Past NAPPSA scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply again.
When will applications open?

How is the recipient selected?
Applications are reviewed by the NAPPSA Scholarship Committee, which considers academic achievement, financial need, NAPPSA involvement, and community service, based on the essays, transcript, CV, and two academic recommendation letters. The recipient is announced at the Annual Scientific Conference and serves on the Scholarship Alumni Committee for at least two years.
