Tax-deductibility of Patron contributions. NAPPSA is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 43-2115497). Patron levels include benefits that have fair-market value — such as complimentary Annual Conference registration, gala admission, pins, certificates, and awards. Under IRS rules, only the portion of your payment that exceeds the value of the benefits you receive is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. NAPPSA will provide a good-faith estimate of the value of these benefits in your written acknowledgment. If you prefer, you may decline the Patron benefits to keep your full contribution tax-deductible — just note “decline benefits” when you give, or contact nappsa@nappsa.org.
