Resource and editorial standards

NAPPSA resources should be current, useful, appropriately sourced, and marked when they need review or are preserved as archives.

Policies, archives, and public records

Public trust standards

  • Use clear status labels: current, needs review, archive, or member-only where appropriate.
  • Keep numbers consistent: do not mix membership counts, registration counts, and goals without labels.
  • Separate live from archived content: completed events should be marked as archives and forward-looking pages should point to the next active opportunity.
  • Show responsible pathways: leadership, committees, standards, and contacts should be easy to find.
  • Protect sensitive records: board, committee, and member-only records should remain behind the proper access layer.

Recommended next action

If you are a visitor, start with Leadership, Financials & Transparency, or the Resource Library. If you are a NAPPSA editor, use the editorial standards before publishing new public resources, conference pages, sponsor pages, or archived materials.
